M/S as buglers blow a fanfare before Garter King of Arms (in ceremonial dress) reads the proclamation. Various shots as he announces King Edward VIII's succession to the throne as cannons go off. M/S of people watching. They all take their hats off and say "God Save the King", another fanfare is blown. M/S of carriages in a procession.
