    DS coach drives; followed by police on horseback. A crowd of young boys surge into street after the procession trying to get closer to the hero soldier. Policemen on foot; have to push the mob back. The police walk along; w/ crowd right behind them. Crowd fills whole area; people wave at camera; etc.

    More footage of this event can be seen in clip 1848.18.

    Incidentally that other clip is dated 1916, so perhaps this clip can be dated the same. That date would seem to be correct, given that the battle in which Private Kenny won his Victoria Cross took place in September 1915.
