M/S of Princess Elizabeth walking behind a Bishop and mayor? Top shot of congregation who seem to be standing in the open air. A foundation stone is lowered into place. The Princess makes a speech. L/S of crowds sitting and standing on rocks. Top shot of the Princess accompanied by the mayor and a man in a cloak - they walk along a windy cliff side. The Princess hangs on to her hat. Panning shot of R.N.L.I. lifeboat men standing to attention in front of ruins. Close view of their faces. M/S of the Princess talking to one of the men. L/S of crowds surging towards a building. M/S of Princess emerging from a building accompanied by a mayor. She smiles and waves.

    May 26th - King's Colour to the R.A.F. M/S of the Princess in an open topped car waving to crowds. Closer shot of the face of the Princess as she smiles and nods. Shot of some of the spectators standing with umbrellas - mostly women. L/S of the Princess presenting the R.A.F. flag.

    June 7th - Trooping the Colour. L/S of the Princess riding side saddle in a Grenadier's uniform. Very high angle shot of the Trooping of the Colour ceremony. Various shots of the Princess inspecting Grenadiers and shots of spectators. M/S of the Princess on horseback.

    June 13th - Ascot. L/S of the Royal Carriage being drawn by horses through an ornate gate. Camera follows the carriage as it arrives at Ascot and moves into the royal enclosure. High angle shot of crowds. Various shots of the horse racing. High angle shot of the royal family moving through the crowd - they wave - the Queen and Princess look towards the camera and smile.

    Note: intermittent sound on print but would class as mute. For search purposes Princess Elizabeth - later Queen Elizabeth and Queen Elizabeth later Queen Mother.
