M/S Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) walking towards control panel to declare the hoverport open. He presses the button. M/S as curtains open to reveal sign: "International Hoverport, Ramsgate". M/S as Duke prepares to cut the tape to declare open the main door, the tape is cut with a pair of scissors. C/U inventor of the hovercraft, Sir Christopher Cockrell. L/S as people board hovercraft. M/S people waiting to go on board. Angle shot people going aboard. L/S as Duke walks towards the hovercraft. M/S two hover hostesses looking on.
