The royal car drives up the road and stops, there are soldiers on either side of the street. Someone runs up and opens the door, two men get out followed by Prince Edward, the crowds wave their hats. He walks down some steps followed by the mayor and shakes hands with another man. He shakes hands with a wounded soldier and the two chat for a while. He then shakes the hand of another war veteran. He greets a man in military uniform who is stood in a line of other men.
