Various shots of one of the Princes, a son of King George V - impossible to tell by sight which - in safari uniform and explorer hat getting off a steam river boat, looks like they are in a hot country - an African country? The Prince shakes hands with more men in safari uniform waiting on a jetty. M/S of the men in uniform shaking hands with various black men in traditional African-style robes, they then walk under a brick archway. M/S of the Prince climbing onto a chestnut horse, troops of soldiers in white, some on horseback watch him. M/S of the Prince riding away, accompanied by the other men in uniform, also on horseback.

Note: flags held by the soldiers in white have a crescent moon and star on suggesting it is probably a North African Islamic country. Algeria, Tunisia and Western Sahara all have similar flags. AH 2000.

Note: because of the large explorer hat obscuring his face it is impossible to tell which Prince it is - could be Prince Henry or George, most likely Edward, Prince of Wales or Prince Albert, Duke of York. AH 2000.
