Presentation of Imperial Air Fleet aeroplane "City of Hull" to Australia. 25/05/1918 Hull Grammar School playing fields on Anlaby Rd, Hull. The aeroplane was funded by Hull Chamber of Commerce members. Mrs Loveridge, wife of the Chamber President, can be seen breaking the bottle. On the right of frame is Lord Mayor Hubert Johnson. Far left is the Lady Mayoress, Lord Desborough and Lt Col Oswald Watt of the Australian Flying Corps. Panning shot to left shows Mr C J Fairfax Scott, Secretary of the Imperial Air Fleet Committee, his wife, Lt W J Walford officer in charge of the aircraft, Lord Desborough, President of the Imperial Air Fleet Committee, Brig Gen J H W Becke RAF, Lt Col W O Watt AFC. The aeroplane is Sopwith Camel serial D3388 built in Lincoln and served with 210 Sqn RAF
