Greetings and wonderful to see a place where you can cross two things off the day's list!
Here in the USA, we've started a little event series in Philadelphia, called PubLetters. Every Tuesday in July, we meet at a neighborhood taproom (Doobies, 22nd & Lombard Streets) at about 7pm. Trophy Bikes, the local bike shop sponsor (me) brings First Class Stamps; Casa Papel, a stationers, brings nice envelopes and paper. If you order in writing, you get a special drinks price from Doobies.

Then we settle down and scratch out a few letters to friends and relatives, local politicians and a few notables--last week we wrote to His Holiness Pope Francis and I believe at least one letter went out to cheer up President Obama. We gathered up about 45 letters in all, walked them to the mail box and promised to meet again on Tuesdays, (July 15, 22, 29) ! Find out a bit more: www.publetters.com .

With Kind Regards, Michael McGettigan, Philadelphia USA.
