    CU Two small birds in cage. LS Exterior of Chinese tea house with two men going in carrying bird cages. MS Interior tea house, man enters carrying bird cage - the tea house is a rendezvous for bird owners who bring their pets with them. MS Window with hanging cages, pan down to two men drinking tea. MS Another man with three cages climbing stairs. MS Cages hanging on special racks, another bird cage is added. MS Man in suit puts his bird on the window ledge and sits down to drink tea. CU Man opposite looks up from his newspaper. MS The tea house waiter arrives at table. CU Man eating noodles with chopsticks. CU Bird, possibly a finch, in a cage. MS A cage of grasshoppers is carried in. CU Hand takes a grasshopper from the cage. CU Grasshoppers at the wire of the cage. CU Bird in cage jumping on and off its perch. CU Man drinking tea. CU Two birds drink from their water pot. MS and CU Man at table shares his bun with his pet birds. CU Bird looks sideways down into the water pot. LS New man arrives with his bird and puts the cage on the table. CU He talks. MS Waiter arrives and shows him the Bird Menu, which he then shows the bird!. CU Bird menu featuring grasshoppers, small and large, lizard, seed and corn. CU Waiter pouts and smiles. MS Waiter addressing the bird. CU Bird in cage with white rings round his eyes.
