The process involved in facial tattooing for permanent make-up - EEK!
A woman seated on a sofa demonstrates to a man in a white coat where she would like her blusher tattooed. She lays on the sofa and the beautician covers her upper body with white cloths. A substance is rubbed into the woman's right cheek - possibly anaesthetic. (The beautician is wearing black rubber gloves - scary). C/U of table with various tattoo equipment and a dark powder. Dark powder is placed on the cheek then an electrical instrument is applied to the area. The woman looks into a mirror. The powder is rubbed in, cream is applied followed by a light coloured powder. Shot of the final "tinted" complexion.
Was item in Eve's Film Review issue 386.
Note: this film is not for the squeamish! The beauty technician is rather sinister and the equipment he uses rather primitive.
Safety print exists - show print. Probably to be found in the "Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever" roll.
