• Short Summary

A versatile bathtub, a home-made diving outfit and a newly invented rocket.

  • Description

Titles read: 'PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD'.

    Various locations of events.

Several shots of a bath that can be used as a table, kitchen sink and washing tub with wringer, for use wherever space is limited. This is demonstrated by a young lady on a set dressed to look like a kitchen. High angle shot of the girl from behind, sitting in the bath and washing herself with a sponge - nude! (well, the top half is). Brief shot of the table of the bath being used as a shove ha'penny board. (Probably shot in Pathe Studio, London.)

In South Africa we see several shots of a man trying out a home-made diving outfit. A group of people wait on a jetty as the man goes below the water. One of the men uses a motorcar pump to feed air through the helmet tube. Our man comes back up to the surface and waves to show he is alright.

We then see several shots of rocket apparatus being set up on a river bank by inventor Captain Burton. The rocket is fired and shoots off into the sky, unravelling yards of string as it goes. (Location of events unknown - somewhere in England.)
