• Short Summary

A pneumatic rugby post, US police improve their memories and Bavarians play curling.

  • Description

Titles read: 'PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD'.

    Various locations of events.

Several shots show a pneumatic corner post being pumped up and put into position on a rugby pitch by inventor Mr Orr. M/S of two men in a rugby tackle as they bend the post over. It springs back into position.

In the United States of America we see policemen in a classroom being trained to improve their memories. They are all given cards with photographs of "Public Enemies number one to a hundred". They have to write descriptions of each face - "and only dictionary words are allowed"!

In Bavaria, Germany, we see men in traditional costume and feathered hats playing a match of curling on a frozen mountain lake. It is pretty similar to the Scottish version of the game, only the Germans do not use brooms.
