Motorcycle trial in Ireland. Lots of mud and water.
Irish motorcyclists test out their machines over very boggy ground.
Full title reads: "Patland Cup Motor Cycle Reliability Trial - run over the Featherbed mountain provided no such comfort, but it certainly was 'soft'."

Motorcyclist rides bike (No. 9) through boggy land, he rides through a shallow puddle. A few people look on. Another rider (No. 8) attempts the same but appears to stall as he comes out, steam comes out of his engine.
Side shot of motorcycle rider (No. 11) going across country. The ground is muddy and rough, he has to use his feet to stay upright. Rider (No. 17) rides through large puddle. More people are watching here - they are all wrapped up against the cold.
Rider (No. 12) powers away from the camera over very cut up ground. Rider (No. 8) goes away from camera - he has real trouble staying on and eventually falls off. One of the people watching goes over to help, but the rider gets up before he gets there.
Rider (No. 6) rides close to the camera and turns his bike. The bike gets stuck and a person helps to finish the move. Another rider rides cross country. He falls off, rolls round and looks at the camera. He scratches his head. Rider (No. 14) successfully negotiates a boggy piece of ground. Rider (no. 18) goes through a couple of deep puddles. Rider (No. 22) goes past some people, a woman with a child is looking on. The man next to her moves back as if the bike has splashed him with mud. Rider (No. 24) goes past the same group, they move back to avoid being splashed.
