• Short Summary

Traditional Scottish song performed in traditional Scottish dress by Tom Kinniburgh.

  • Description

Tom Kinniburgh strides onto a studio set wearing full Scottish traditional dress including kilt, sporren and patterned socks. The set presumably represents the interior of a Scottish castle or large house. He sings in a very low voice. The song is "The March of the Cameron Men." C/U of Tom as he sings, a suit of armour is visible behind him. M/S again as he continues his traditional song. He is accompanied by a pianist - we do not see who is playing.

Note: this is a straightforward song - no intercutting with scenes of Scotland unfortunately.

Footage includes end title - the sunburst "Pathe Pictorial - The End" card.
