  • Description

    Pathe News Titles.

Against a blue sky background, the words 'ASSOCIATED BRITISH - PATHE LTD. PRESENTS' appear in red. They fade out to reveal a crowing cockerel surrounded by a laurel wreath, marked at each quarter point by an English (Tudor?) rose, a Scottish thistle, an Irish shamrock and a Welsh daffodil. The words 'PATHE NEWS' in red lettering appears over the whole picture. The usual, familiar theme is played.

Followed by end titles. The cockerel in the wreath with 'THE END' over that image. (No sound for this section.)

Your description does not refer to this late 40s title but it rather refers to the colour version title introduced in the early 60s.
