Various shots of Sir John Simon, Lord Hailsham and Ramsay MacDonald at Wolferton Station, they have gathered for a Privy Council meeting, they get in a car, various shots as it drives away.

    L/S of a large crowd of people gathered outside Buckingham Palace in the dark after the announcement of the King's death, the camera pans across them, most look subdued or stunned. L/S of the church at Sandringham where his body was taken. L/S of royal servants gathering to pay tribute. Various shots of flags flying at half mast, including one on the Houses of Parliament. People gather to watch 70 cannons fired in Hyde Park.
