    Various shots of wives and children entering the Canteen and sitting at tables. Wives queue at serving hatch for food and refreshments. Various shots of Colonel Starbuck of the Salvation Army, Assistant Director of the Red Shield Club, interviewing the families for Pathe - all shots mute, unfortunately.

    Wives and children arrive at St Pancras railway station and Coldstream guards help with the luggage. A mother feeds her small baby with a bottle. C/U studies of some of the young children and mothers (could be used for anything).
