Various shots of French owned works of art that have been recovered from Germany after the war. A museum attendant lifts one of the paintings from table and shows it to camera. The paintings are mostly oils, the exhibition includes work by the following artists: Rodin, Nicolas Moes, Chardin, Lancret, Fragonard, Van Dyke, Franz Hals, Peter de Hoogh, Velasquez, Goya, Gainsborough, Renoir and Barthe Morrisot.
