    Parades; processions; Lord Mayor; police; firemen; church; Army Parades. Lord Mayor & small contingent of other men in costumes watch as police captain inspects policemen before parade in Wolverhampton; England. Shots of Lord M; other big wigs. Parade coming around corner & down street. Small marching band. Policemen; followed by firemen (?) in shiny helmets. Group of men all wearing big gold chains around their necks (in BG a theatre marquee for Vera Vardon.....Burlesque Star. Other men and women in civilian clothing; Lord Mayor; British Army soldiers all follow in the procession. Next; another procession coming out of church: Lord M; priests; etc. coming down church steps. Crowd waiting for street procession; mounted policemen come riding up & motion crowd to move back out of the way. Procession approaches- -police; Lord M. group of men in top hats. Lord Mayor (who is one of the youngest I have seen to hold this position) & others in ceremonial dress pose for picture.

    The date is likely to be up to 1925 rather than 1929 as my great grandfather was one of the mounted policemen leading in the procession and he died in 1925.
