    Mothers in traditional Native American dress have their babies examined by modern (1928) Caucasian nurses. Babies are placed on weighing scales and given medical attention in open air. "Today they are bringing their chubby papooses for advice and attention." Includes shots of mothers and children posing for camera. Some of the babies cry. C/U of one squaw with a baby in a leather carrying pouch.

    Quite a cute little story.
