    Ministry of Information public information trailer - Paper is Precious.

    Don't waste paper.

    CU woman cleaning top of oven with paper. Title - 'this is a crime in wartime'. MS man using it to set fire to garden rubbish. MS man sweeping it along the road by the gutter. MS train going in to tunnel. MS people on it reading newspapers. CU pan across the front of the papers which say 'every day millions of newspapers are finished with'. Title - 'When you've read your paper save it for the war'.

    MS man folding up newspaper and putting it in his pocket. MS woman folding up paper. MS taking it out of grate and using wood to light it instead. Title - 'use only very dirty papers to light the stove'. MS woman stuffing paper in the stove.

    MS post being put through letter box. Title - 'open every envelope carefully'. MS woman bending down to pick them up. CU showing her opening it carefully with letter opener. MS stacked envelopes. MS man using economy label.

    MS woman taking basket to save on wrapping when she goes shopping. Title - 'don't ask for ready packed goods to be wrapped'. CU basket of unwrapped goods. MS men with lots of recycled paper.

    Title - 'Don't waste your waste!' MS sailors on boat. Title - 'salvage saves shipping space'.
