1919 - M/S of Hall of Mirrors in Versailles where leaders gathered to sign the Peace treaty, various shots of the people inside. M/S of the House of Commons, there is a big victory march past to mark first Armistice ceremony .
1921 - M/S of Leon Trotsky saluting while reviewing the army of new Soviet Russia.
1922 - burning of Smyrna in Turkey seen from river. Various shots of refugees trying to get away in boats.
1924 - King George V and Queen Mary arrive to open the Empire exhibition at Wembley Stadium.
1925 - The horses set off in the Derby. M/S of Steve Donoghue winning.
1927 - Solo Atlantic flyer Charles Lindbergh takes off. L/S of crowds in Paris. C/U of him. 1929 - Waghorn wins Schneider Trophy for flying at Calshott, M/S of Ramsay MacDonald. various shots of Royal Air Force men.
1930 - Various shots of Don Bradman playing cricket. C/U of his face.
1934 - M/S of Queen Mary launching the "Queen Mary" on the Clyde.
1936 - Various shots of Crystal Palace on fire, it collapses.
1936 - Various shots of Fred Perry at Wimbledon playing and winning.
1937 - Tommy Farr in boxing match with Max Baer, he wins.
1937 - Coronation. M/S as the crown is placed on the head of King George VI, various shots of royal family watching. M/S as Elizabeth is crowned. Various shots as they walk down the aisle and out to the Coronation coach. L/S of huge parade. M/S of the royal standard, M/S of the royal family on the balcony waving to the crowds.
