    Cuts (rushes, out takes) for the story in Colour Pictorials - CP 609. The original story is on Pathe Master Tape *PM0377*. The sequences show the same as the edited story ISRAEL - LAND OF THE FOUR SEAS with additional shots of all the scenes.

    01:08:21 - 01:12:09.
    Sequences include sailing, sparkling sea, with mountains in the background. A sailing boat with a white sail is seen just offshore, brilliant blue sky and sea. Various shots of tourists and a glass bottomed boat with a long sequences of the coral and fishes seen through the glass.

    01:12:09 - 01:14:35.
    At the Jewish National Fund Planting Centre, in the Valley of Elat, there are long sequences of the 'plant a tree for Israel' campaign, carried out mainly by older people (01:13:20). Cows are led along a road and stop the traffic. Men in traditional Arab head-dresses, spray water from hoses where they have irrigated desert land(01:14:22). A man looks at insects in trays in some sort of lab facility.

    Sequence of jets on the tarmac at an airport, planes coming in to land, the captain looks at his watch. There are shots at a hotel with some children sitting in deck chairs, people in the pool and playing volleyball. There are shots of the the streets in Tel-Aviv, with buses and taxis.

    01:18:25 - 01:21:54.
    There are shots of the desert, and people at the airport waving, the pilots and crew members walking across the tarmac near the aircraft. Shots of swimmers, flowers in the desert, blossom, palm trees, fish sizzling in a pan, a man standing in water, fishing with a circular net, hot springs. L/S of a town. Camels with huge burdens of greenery.

    Brings back memories of a beautiful period in Israel daily life, circa 1968 - 1970
    When very few commercials were on radio, streets were clean, & the nick name Israbluff was yet to be invented, and practiced.
