THE CARNIVAL (aka CARNIVALS IN SOUTH OF FRANCE) - some shots of majorettes marching in the parade. Some nice night shots of people throwing confetti at a laughing gendarme.
SHOTS FROM AN UNIDENTIFIED STORY (1) - L/S of a hotel beside a snow capped mountain, panning shots over snow capped mountain tops, appears to be taken from inside a cable car. C/U of girl inside the cable car carrying a pair of skis. More shots of snow capped mountains. The girl is seen putting on skis then skiing down a mountainside, people are seen on a ski lift. L/S of a cable car. M/S of people, including children, skiing.
SHOTS FROM AN UNIDENTIFIED STORY (2) - M/S of jockeys on racehorses being lead past a crowd on a racecourse.
THE CARNIVAL - a boy is shown riding his bike along the quayside in Nice, he stops and climbs aboard a yacht.
Note: this set of cuts contains out takes from two identified stories not from CP 592, by the looks of them were probably made about the same time in the sixties and come from another Colour Pictorial issue. Record will be amended at a later date. AH 2000.
