    Pan across hilly landscape. There appears to be a hydroelectric power station in the valley.

    Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI) meets a group of men outside a building. The Duke is dressed in full Highland costume with kilt etc.

    A bagpipe and rum band lead a march past of soldiers from a Scottish regiment.

    The Duke inspects a rank of soldiers and also some war veterans.
