    This piece is from Leoncavallo\'s opera \"Pagliacci\" (known as \"Bajazzo\" in German, hence the unfamiliar title). Note that the label of the alleged synchronised disc actually bears the handwritten description \"Pistonsolo\", i.e. cornet solo. Presumably the filmmaker hoped we wouldn\'t notice the difference.
