    Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (Later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) arrives on the tee to start the British Open Golf Championship. He is wearing plus fours and a very natty beret.

    Golfer drives off from tee, his caddy and his opponent move off with him down to the fairway. Shots of the gallery crossing over bridge. Golfer plays a long putt on a green.

    Prize presentation ceremony. Man in kilt stands up to speak. He presents the famous claret jug trophy to Tommy Armour.

    N.B. This was the first time that the Open was played at Carnoustie.
