This is a novelty, dummy tank, not an attempt to create an actual one-man tank . It was built by the Holt Tractor Company for the visit of Colonel Ernest Swinton (one of the developers of British tank) to Benjamin Holt's factory in the USA. I understand it was powered by a motorcycle engine.
