    M/S of Tom (?) of Cheshunt on his land, C/U as he looks around. His wife rakes the ground. M/S of their air raid shelter, the roof has been cultivated to grow vegetables. Various shots of rabbits in a hutch and the family's one cow. The sheds housing the ducks and pigsties are moved regularly so the ground gets evenly fertilised. Various shots of Tom feeding the ducks with cereals. His wife collects the eggs. Various shots as they cut kale and vegetables. She milks the cow and pours milk into the butter churn. Various shots of the woman pickling eggs and preserving various things.
