    "Shaky shot of unknown athletes from USA and USSR" - the man wearing number 1025 is Bob Richards of the USA, the winner of the Pole Vault.

    "Finnish male javelin throwers" - the three men seen are Toivo Hyytiainen, Soini Nikkinen and Eino Leppanen.

    Seen at 00:56 is Yugoslavian Javelin thrower Branko Dangubic.

    "another jumper, possibly Venezuela's Asnoldo Devonish" - yes, that's Asnoldo Devonish.

    "USA's Cy Young receiving his gold medal" - beside him on the podium are Bill Miller of the USA and Toivo Hyytiainen of Finland.
