CU Spencer. Plane begins to taxi. Tracking shot from another plane of aeroplane in flight. Spencer climbs out on the side and jumps off; turning head downward. Parachutes begin to open. Some nice tracking shots of the parachute being blown fast; fields & buildings below. Looking down at Spencer landing. MS Holt; Spencer and Captain Barnard; the pilot pose by aeroplane. CU Spencer, smoking a well-earned cigarette.

Titles: 'Stag Lane Aerodrome. "The Salvator". Air Ministry Officials see demonstration of Parachute in use in Italian Air Force."

Parachutist shows very compact parachute strapped on his back. He climbs into plane. Next shot looking up at parachute in sky above; slowly falling. Another shot of 2 men getting into aeroplane. Some sort of trophies being presented to RAF men.

Titles: 'Pullman Of The Skies - Successful trials of all-British Vickers-Rolls-Royce 20 seater "Vanguard" marks World's greatest progress in civil aviation.'

Shots of early passenger plane taxiing past. Plane takes off. Tracking shot from above of aeroplane flying. Title: 'Lunch is ready, Sir!'. Interior: waiter serves food to passengers. More aerial shots of the Vickers Vanguard. One shot shows the current, small passenger service plane flying nearby. Aeroplane executes a slightly bumpy landing.

Titles: 'Stag Lane Aerodrome. Giant "Liner of the Skies" for Cairo to Karachi Service. First pictures of wonderful de Havilland Hercules (3-450 hp Bristol Jupiter Engines.)

Aeroplane on ground; a rather boxy-looking craft. Closer shots of details of plane; incl. side view of pilot & other man seated in open cockpit; at front & top of plane (passengers sit below & behind; inside). Aeroplane taking off. On the ground; 2 men show the collapsible boat carried by the Hercules; they use a pump to inflate it; then climb in & sit. Another small passenger plane; unidentified; on ground. Plane taking off.

CU female (?) pilot seated in cockpit; looks at camera. Shot of the plane (very primitive) taxiing along beach. Plane flying away from camera (hazy & low contrast); man in FG on beach. Cut to shot of another pilot sitting in plane; looking at camera; first w/ goggles on; then without.

Rather unusual form of water-skiing: the skiers are pulled behind a seaplane skimming along on the water (actually they aren't on water skis but on one-piece boards). Shots from various angles; inc. shots from the plane. CU plane's rudder moving. Thin cords criss-crossing all over the plane; tracking shot looking through these cords at another seaplane and another water-skier skiing alongside.
