    Inside the Hotel Metropole in Brighton we see crowds of people gathered for the opening of the exhibition. Tony Benn (Anthony Wedgewood Benn), Minister of Technology, opens exhibition. Various shots of people looking round the exhibition. Tony Benn looks at model of Russian research ship with some Russian people. Then he looks at a Polar Automatic Radio Net Drifting Station.

    Pan from little boy to Admiralty swimmers underwater vehicle. Zoom in to show frogmen on vessel. C/Us of hand and foot controls. M/S of model of Babcock's self-submersible submarine house in tank of water. Tony Benn looks at it. Pan across to sub house. CU Sub house in tank. It is pushed down to bottom of tank and it comes up out of water.
