Opens with shot of a group of nurses in long dark capes; casually standing on steps of St. Paul's;talking. Shot from bottom of steps; panning across huge crowd including many women. Coach arriving; with Lord Mayor etc. special effects small picture of Cavell in mid-screen; with a light shining on it (or behind); the light gets smaller and turns into cross which keeps shrinking until it looks like a round picture of Nurse Cavell on top of a Red Cross emblem.
