M/S as vicar leads Primate of all England, Dr. Cosmo Lang, the Archbishop of Canterbury, into the church. He is conducting wedding of one of the palace housemaids, Jean Gould. M/S of other servants arriving with their children. M/S as the bride walks through with her bridesmaid and father, she smiles at the camera. M/S as the happy couple emerge from the church and walk through cobbled courtyard.

    Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Various shots of rowing teams lined up on the river for the head of the river race for the Fairburn Cup. Various shots of several of the teams on the river. M/S as they row along and people cycle on the towpath to follow them.

    Ringway, Manchester. A man gets out of a car followed by the Lord Mayor of Manchester who has come to dig the first sod for the new airport. Various shots as they walk onto the field as others stand around. M/S as the mayor digs the earth. Note: the last few seconds of the picture are missing.

    Eton College, Berkshire. Various shots as students walk along in a line getting ready to play the traditional wall game. They push against the wall and the ball is put in the middle of them. Several players are walls and act as cushions between the brick wall and other players called seconds. Others are called bullies and flies, people stand around watching. Various shots as they fight for the ball. Note: the first few seconds of the picture are missing.

    Various shots as Yeovil play Newport, Isle of Wight, in the first round of the F.A. Cup. M/S as Newport score and win 1 goal to nil.

M/S interior full of water covering furniture, people walk about on the collapsed walls outside. M/S of a truck driving in stormy conditions. Various shots as the waves crash over the sea walls.

    This wedding is so lovely to see as it's my Gran and Grandad as they became getting married by the Archbishop.
