    WS. A turbine driven locomotive the very latest in engineering design undergoing speed trials. Travelling shot heading towards camera gradually the locomotive over takes the camera. WS. Different angle as the camera travels alongside the train. CU. on the wheels. CU. Smoke coming out of the funnel. CU. Train wheels. LS. The front of the engine. CU. wheel of the train. WS. low angle the train passes camera. MS. driver in his cab. CU. water pouring from a pipe as the train travels. WS. station as the train passes through it at great speed. WS. Houses as the train goes flying past. LS. the engine of the train. The use of turbine blades reduces the amount of noise and vibration.

    Unknown: Various shots of the new barge taken from a boat travelling alongside WS. The new Admirals Barge which is to be used by the Commander-in-chief of the Mediterranean fleet. The barge resembles a speedboat this is because it has been created by the speedboat designer H. Scott Payne?. The boat rides on top of the water like a racer it also allows the Commander to look forwards where previous designs meant that he looked backwards.

    London: WS. Pearly King and Queen with their donkey and cart at the annual Donkey show. CU. Pearly Queen. MS. Pearly King and donkey. WS. Pearly King with his donkey and cart sitting on the donkey is a young boy in a Pearly suit with a girl seated in the cart. CU. Donkey feeding from a bag. LS. A coster girl presents a lucky horseshoe to lady Newborough who is there to present the prizes. MS. Lady Newborough presenting a cup to the winner of the best kept moke. WS. Pearly King putting his cup into his cart. CU. Small boy in the full Pearly outfit seated on the back of a donkey. CU. Cup which sways as the cart starts to pull away.

Cavalry display as horses and rider charge over open countryside. WS. light tanks seen during the display. WS. The revue base with senior officers in the Italian army. LS. cavalry ride past camera. WS. motorbike. WS. Crowd with the display visible in the distance. LS. tanks. WS. cavalry. WS. motorcyclist. WS. armoured vehicles and their drivers lined up as senior officers pass them they salute. The Italian Secretary of state for war is probably amongst this group.

    Nice: WS. children's cars lined up at the start of the babies' Grand Prix. MS. pan along children seated in their cars. WS. The start as everyone peddles off a man runs down to steer one of the children who is heading in a wrong direction. LS. Children rounding a corner. WS. the race in progress. CU. child peddling its car. LS. the race in progress. MS. older boys cheering on the participants. WS. children peddling round a corner as they approach the finish. WS. Spectators applauding. CU. Girl in goggles. MS. the winner seated in his car holding his cup. A very sweet good fun story.

    Unknown: WS. Boxer Max Baer emerges with his wife from a doorway to talk to the press after the ceremony. CU. Max Baer talking (nat. sound) he thanks his wife and tells the press that he is the "happiest fella in the world". He finishes the speech and they kiss.

    Newton Stewart: Title card reads: "Galloway Pageant - History re-enacted in brilliant scenes at Newton-Stewart". MS. Margaret ovens? dressed in costume as she approaches for the ceremony for her coronation as the 'Queen of Galloway'. WS. The stage as she is crowned by Mrs McNeill. WS. Pan across the crowd. WS. the queen being handed a flower. LS. the stage. WS. local Galloway dignitaries lined up they applaud. LS. the queen leaving the stage and being given a wreath of flowers. CU laying the wreath at the war memorial. WS. a car which has been decorated to look like a coach with the queen seated inside the car stops and she is passed a bunch of flowers. WS. pan the car as it leaves. WS. a pageant with men and women dressed as famous people in Galloway history. various shots of the pageant as it passes.

    Faughart Hill: Title card reads: "Pilgrimage to Dundalk - Impressive ceremony on Faughart Hill in memory of St. Brigid" WS. the pilgrimage led by pipers as the procession makes its way up the hill. WS. Church officials seated on the grass. WS. the shrine of St. Brigid which is within 100 yards of her birthplace seen from the bottom of the steps that lead up to it. CU. statue of Mary. WS.
