"Various shots as poles are manoeuvred" - they're manoeuvred by a Mowlem Construction Company crane.

In the penultimate story, about Tommy Johnstone, the shots list reads "model bus on the road in front of a real one" - the real bus is a Leyland Tiger TS4.

That same story twice refers to Tommy Johnstone's father - the father's name was Ernest Johnstone, and he built the scale model bus. More of his models can be seen in clips 1261.10 and 1630.24.
