    Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. M/S of Old Temple Bar which used to be the boundary to the city of London. The camera pans down to hounds and men from the Smith-Bosanquet hunt riding underneath. Various shots as they ride through and into Theobald's Park.

    Bavarian Alps. M/S of snow covered trees in Alps near Austrian border. Various shots as units of the German artillery carry out manoeuvres, they winch guns and sledges up to high position. Various shots as they fire the guns.

    London. M/S of shire horses being led around the ring during the horse show. M/S of the winner, Mr Belcher of Wellington in Shropshire, being presented with the Cup. C/U of the winning horse "Harboro Goldfinder".

    Burroughs Hall, London. Various shots of Vera Seals playing billiards, C/U of her face. M/S as a man presents her with a Cup after she has won the Women's Amateur Billiards Championship. He turns to shake hands with the runner-up, Mrs Morland Smith.

    St. Regus, Quebec, Canada. - M/S as the camera pans across blocks of ice near houses in the town. Ice blocks pile up from the frozen river and threaten to wreck the town and church. Various shots as men kneel and pray for deliverance at shrine of village patron saint. M/S showing the ice has stopped short of the town and the river begins to flow again.

    Pretoria, South Africa. M/S of a line of aeroplanes from the South African air force with their propellors spinning, pilots approach them. M/S as they taxi and take off in a line. Various shots as they fly in formation over Pretoria and we see aerial pictures of the city.

    Davos Switzerland. Various shots of ice hockey pitch being cleared and swept. Various shots as Canada's Winnipeg Monarchs play against Switzerland. The Canadians win by 4 goals to 2.

    Trafalgar Square, London. M/S of clergymen walking around the statue of King Charles I in Trafalgar Square, camera pans down the statue to people gathered at the bottom. Clergymen carry out remembrance service for him. Various shots as a piper plays and people lay flowers in remembrance. M/S as altar boys and clergymen walk in procession.
