View of Newport from ship on River Severn and good shots of rough sea.

  • Description

    Newport, Wales.

Boats and ships. View looking toward shore from sea; w/ rocky hills rising behind town of Newport. The boat is actually in the wide mouth of the River Severn which flows into Bristol Channel.

Tracking shots from boat of water; big hills in distance; another ship; etc. View of ocean through porthole. Rough sea; filmed from deck; w/ boat (and camera) moving up and down - intense shaky cam! Same; at dawn or dusk; possibly during storm (flashes look like lightning). Then shot from dockyards; looking down onto decks of ships; w/ men working.
