Pan back and forth over battlefield - all rubble burned stumps etc. New Zealand troops march over bridge; carrying all their gear; others stand at side facing in. Pan left to CU soldier with rifle standing guard on bridge; city in background with silhouettes of church steeples etc.

Pan on aeroplane hangar interior with many planes inside - British one in centre with some German planes along sides; soldiers walk past in foreground. Pan again closer. MS harbour, pan left - sunken warships; lighthouse at end of pier. MS looking down pier with big gun mounted.

MS ruins of church / cathedral; pan bombed town - massive destruction. Army truck in front of the church with several soldiers standing beside it. Pan to large hangar with aeroplane in front; outside. CU's men talking by plane. Various shots men in front of plane, mix of military and civilians of different nationalities.

MS large heavy looking twin propellor. MS aeroplane flying. MS small crowd watching. Pan across field with German planes parked. Various shots as soldiers chop down trees. MS tall thin tree falling. Pan on bombed building with overgrown yard, soldiers search it. Pan across large cemetery. MS train station in town; pan platform with soldiers; civilians (German?), passenger train on other side.
