The first scene shows the bridge over the Canal du Nord (FRance) built by the NZEF Tunnelling Company in late September 1918. The multi-arched bridge at Cologne is the Hohenzollern Bridge - it also features when soldiers of the NZ Division are marching over it, alongside trams.
