    Pan across large boathouse where crowds of people and some New Zealand (?) troops are watching the action on the river. Soldiers and civilians prepare rowing team boat at launching jetty. Four men in dark vests and white shorts sit in the boat with a cox as they push off from jetty. L/S of several rowing teams moving along the river. Pleasure boat (?) passes them coming the other way. M/S of the winning team outside the boathouse with soldiers and officials standing behind them.
