L/Ss of the Aquitania at sea off New York coast. United States of America. Various close ups of doors and port-holes on ship showing black-out precautions. Several shots of the Trans Atlantic Clipper (flying boat) with American flag emblazoned on the side. Good L/S of the liner the 'President Roosevelt' having it's name painted on the hull of the ship in large letters. M/S of American 'Stars and Stripes' flag on side of ship.

Cataloguer's note: The American's hoped that this action would stop German submarines from sinking it's ships in the Atlantic. Also, short piece of film of tractors being driven out of factory at end of item, does not appear to relate to the rest of the story.

    Original negative exists.
