    L/S as the Chinese troops march along the street and through an archway. M/S of buglers leading the Chinese troops, various shots as they carry Nationalist flag of China (?), President's Flag (?). L/S as a train pulls out of station. M/S of men sleeping or sitting in open carriages.

    Intertitle - '... as in all wars!'

    People leave with their possessions on carts, some ride on them, others walk alongside. M/S as they wheel their belongings down the road. M/S as they carry their possessions out of the houses. Various shots as they leave in rickshaws.
