    CU. Flap falling down to reveal name on the new RAF (Royal Air Force) launch 'Seal'. LS. Seal. MS. RAF Guard of Honour being inspected. Various shots of the ship's log being handed over to Air Marshal, Sir Paul Holder by the shipyard owner. Then it is handed over again to the Seal captain Flt. Lt. R. D. Parkin. MS. Union Jack starts to rise. Ceremony in which the ship is blessed. Lady Grandy presses button, the bottle smashes and the ship is named. Various shots of Lady Grandy looking over ship and meeting crew. Various shots of ship with RAF roundels on side.
