    Several shots of a new French passenger aeroplane being christened with a bottle of champagne by air ace Maryse Bastie at Le Bourget in France. The plane starts up and takes off from the airport on its first flight across the Channel.

    We then see it taxiing after landing at Croydon Airport in London. A large crowd of people watch two men in military (?) uniform get off the plane.
