    Various shots of a new invention for catching crooks being demonstrated - the 'net-a-thief'. Colin Brown, inventor of the device, walks towards camera and fires the trigger on a gun-like instrument. This releases a huge nylon net that covers the camera.

    M/S of 'Post Office' sign over a building. We see the Pathe Ginger Man (seen in several Colour Pics) come running out of the post office with a bag - commentator says he's stolen some 5 penny stamps. He runs towards Colin who fires the device at him and Ginger Man is completely trapped! He tries to escape but it's not good, so he is led off by Colin.
