Biographical drama featuring scenes from Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson's life and career.

This reel includes material covering the practice of the press gang, Nelson's birth and childhood, Nelson as a young man - leaving on his first ship at 23, his engagements off the West Indies, his career in the Admiralty, his meetings with Fanny Nesbitt, his family life, the French revolution (storming of the Bastille and the guillotine).

Nelson's meeting with and relationship with Emma, Lady Hamilton, his defence of Corsica, battle scenes and Nelson's loss of sight in one eye, the Battle of St Vincent.
