    Eastern Canada

    Various shots of German prisoners of war walking down gangplank of prison ship. Various shots of POWs passing troops of Canadian soldiers to board trains which will take them to prison camps. They POWs carry duffle bags and wear circles pinned to their backs. Most have been captured from U-boats or shot down by RAF. One of the German officers is said to have been commander of the U-boat that sank the Canadian liner "Empress of Britain". Some of the POWs defiantly do Nazi salute at camera. Narrator comments: "That salute doesn't mean a thing in Canada. Only impatient schoolboys put their hands up like that".
