• Short Summary

An actor gives a humorous imitation of German propagandist Lord Haw Haw.

  • Description

Full title reads: "'Nasti' News From Lord Haw-Haw".

MS Actor Geoffrey Sumner imitating Lord Haw Haw in another of the Pathe Gazette series of comic anti-propaganda items.

He makes jokes about Stalin (at this time still the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was still in place). An Adolf Hitler look alike presents him with another medal. Shots of 'Hitler' fiddling with the 'Lie Straightener' machine to Lord Haw-Haw's side. The machine blows up after a particularly daft statement.

(William Joyce - aka Lord Haw-Haw broadcast on the radio from the continent to England with Nazi propaganda during World War Two.)
