  • Short Summary

The hilarious comedian Harry Tate fools around in his garden - makes some great faces.

  • Description

Comedian Harry Tate with, and without, his famous "face fungus" (a very large moustache).

C/U of Harry putting on his fake moustache and making faces. Slapstick comedy routine follows involving various mishaps during the fitting of a radio aerial. Harry's jacket becomes attached to the aerial and gets hauled up the side of a tree by a man on the top of a ladder. The ladder becomes detached from the tree, leaving the man dangling on a branch. Harry plays golf in his garden, someone drops a newspaper by his foot and he removes it by whacking it with his golf club. He takes a shot at the golf ball, completely misses it then picks it up off the tee and eats it. Four men look into a goldfish pond. One man's top hat falls into the water, two of the other mens' hats are knocked off by Harry into the pond. Harry's wife shows him an appointment in his diary as they stand together on the doorstep and he puts on his coat and hat rushes off somewhere.

Note: I am reliably informed that the man up the ladder is Harry Tate's son.

Safety print exists - show print. Probably to be found in the "Stars as They Are" roll.
